As we progress along the JobKeeper journey it is essential eligible employers are aware of their ongoing payment obligations. The ATO has issued a schedule to assist businesses with identifying the JobKeeper fortnights and when payments must be made to eligible employees.
If your business pays wages weekly it is a good idea to pay as per ordinary hours worked for week one, and complete a top-up amount (if required) before the end of the JobKeeper fortnight.
If your business pays monthly please ensure you are paying the minimum $3,000 per month (except September which has 5 weeks, a minimum payment will need to be paid of $4,500) please click here for a payment schedule.
