As we progress along the JobKeeper journey it is essential eligible employers are aware of their ongoing payment obligations. The ATO has issued a schedule to assist businesses with identifying the JobKeeper fortnights and when payments must be made to eligible employees.

If your business pays wages weekly it is a good idea to pay as per ordinary hours worked for week one, and complete a top-up amount (if required) before the end of the JobKeeper fortnight.

If your business pays monthly please ensure you are paying the minimum $3,000 per month (except September which has 5 weeks, a minimum payment will need to be paid of $4,500) please click here for a payment schedule.

Please click here for key dates and the JobKeeper fortnightly payments schedule.

If you require any assistance along the JobKeeper journey please do not hesitate to contact your accountant at Port Phillip Group who will be happy to help you.
